  From the very first time I entered the doors of Ascension in 2009, to now, I feel that this church and the people who attend and work for the church, are my family.
  I was invited, more than once, I might say, by a friend of mine who had an idea I was searching. Pastor Jeff welcomed me with open arms. His sermon and that fact that I could receive communion every week, the Choir who had been singing that day, the many welcomes I received from the people around me, made me feel right at home.
  To this day, I thank God for leading me to the place where I love to spend my time with family and friends. God Bless Ascension Lutheran Church.
